Whole Schisandra Berries (Wildcrafted)

Whole Schisandra berries (Schisandra chinensis) wild-harvested in NE China’s mountainous Changbai region, in the center of their natural distribution. Our Schisandra berries are harvested when fully ripe and sun-dried, preserving their potency and prized “five-taste” flavor in full. These berries are 100% wildcrafted, and are never exposed to pesticides, preservatives, additives, or fertilizers either before or after harvest.

While most schisandra products on the market are freeze-dried or dehydrated (effectively “cooking” them), our berries are dried in the sun, yielding a raw and noticeably superior traditional product with a rich ruby-red color. For deep pink Korean-style omija tea, steep ten grams in cold water for six to eight hours; sweeten with honey and garnish with pine nuts if desired.
